In Kaminia, in the prefecture of Achaia, our family business, the "Oil Mill of Mayionos", has been a symbol of quality and tradition since 1970. Founded by Sotirios Majionos, the business has been successfully passed on from generation to generation. First to his daughter, Fotini Mayionou, and her husband, Christodoulos Rapti, and now to their children, Dimitrios and Mario Rapti. With the same dedication and passion, we continue to provide excellent olive oil, earning the trust of our customers. Maintaining the rich tradition of Achaia, we strive to highlight the precious fruit of the Greek land as a high quality product with a unique taste and rich in nutrients.

Production process

The first preparation

The olives are carefully washed with potable water, removing any impurities and ensuring the absolute cleanliness of the fruit before oiling. Our care at this stage is critical to maintaining the quality and purity of the olive oil.

Mechanical processing without water

Oiling is carried out exclusively by mechanical means, without the addition of water. We use the cold pressing method to ensure that the olive oil retains all its nutrients and rich aromas. This process protects the valuable phenols and monounsaturated fats, providing a superior in quality olive oil. Finally, it is immediately filtered and stored in stainless steel tanks with the addition of nitrogen, in order to keep all its organoleptic components intact, as confirmed by our product quality certificates.

The result is an excellent olive oil that retains its natural flavor and nutritional benefits. All PRESTIGE Extra Virgin Olive Oil products are standardized to the certified international food hygiene and safety standard ISO 22000, to keep all the nutrients of the unripe natural juice intact, it is a product created with care and dedication at every stage of production, from harvesting to oiling and standardization so that it is passed on to consumers.
